One must begin at the beginning....normally. But this strange and amusing saga began a bit more than two years ago now, so the beginning is well past. And so one must commence at some point, which is today.

Today is the one wherein our scribe learned that his offer to purchase a large commercial building has been accepted. And so we begin the tale of this building and what will become of it under the stewardship commenced today, the last day of July in the year of our Lord , two thousand seven. It was this occasion that prompted the launching of this blog, to chronicle the building itself and what goes on within and without its four ample walls over the coming months and years. Perhaps a small beginning, signing one's name to a piece of paper on someone's desk. And yet the most significant of sea voyages commenced with the singling up then casting off of the mooring lines and standing away from the quay. And those with the command of one man. Thus, this adventure commences, this afternoon, in sunny and warm southwest Washington State. We shall observe what new adventures ensue, who else comes aboard, what treasures we find, and new lands we explore.
